And that’s how the supernatural forms suddenly acquire another dimension. This script began first as a visual draft in my mind. My favorite anxiolytic habit as a student was to write with chalk on the board. Always the same word. Always the same design. But, no more. At least, not in the real world. What if could provoke the revival of this action to create a dark feminine style that can be matched only with the figure of a fallen angel? I love fashion because it works like a flashlight. It illuminates, depending on its “use”, the aspects that I want, the feelings that I feel. Not always, but at that particular moment. Simple clothes with countless creative possibilities function as operators of a measured eccentricity that does not terrify, but makes you stand out of the crowd. In this film I wanted to narrate to you a 57 seconds fashion story with unworldly sensation, but not at all unworldly materials. Listen. This time, with your eyes.

My little secrets…

1. I love the theatrical attitude of everyday style. British origin jackets, noisy sequins, insolent transparency pieces and “clumps” of necklaces (worn at least three together in the same look) are the first in the list What I always have in my closet.

2. The makeup does not follow the same rule as obeys only at the natural glow of the skin and the dark invasion of burgundy lipstick L’Oreal Color Riche Red Rapsody. Beneath the color, just a few seconds before, I dab lips with the smooth and transparent lip balm Korres Lip Butter Jasmine.

3. The fashion items- fetish add always extra value at any look. See how I manage the vintage red leather gloves.

About my heroine…

Auburn hair, green eyes and 1.79. Three characteristics that you definitely remember of model Petra Nilsson. With a minimal rock aesthetics and a penetrating gaze, at the short outfits changing break of my style clip she answers my favorite I.D questions about what is the inviolable rule in her style. In three words…focus on accessories. And she actually respects that style “do” with her power chic piercing, her bangles and her safety pin shape tattoo on her right hand. She is 23 years old, from Sweden and she lives the exciting modeling dream the last one year. He loves every Balmain collection and she would like to be the face of a Chloe campaign. When I ask her what scent she wears, she decides to write it down at my orange notebook…Lebelle de Ricci and at my most personal question about her family she reveals that he has a younger brother. There is no more time for our lovely Q/A moment and I manage to add only two more info. Her favorite food is Caesar salad and as the musical metaphor of her style profile she chooses the Freddy Mercury’s masterpiece…Bohemian Rhapsody.

Work in progress…

Enjoy me and Petra at backstage action!

go punk NOW!

Often it is difficult. Some other times is easy. This film belongs to the second case. In this story i wanted my heroine to be casual but not abstract, vulnerable but not timid, feminine but not provocative. The script takes place at the streets of Metaxourgeio where always an after dark walk is sprinkled with a little dose of mystery. The recipe has two basic components. Innocence + dynamics. When you wear something nostalgic but casual that makes you feel great and your appearance seems dynamic. That means not boring. That’s exactly what happened in the 70s with the musical movement that overthrew the data turning a decade from a mainstream period to a fascinating timeline. The punk reacts to 60s. Easy songs with wild beauty VS older songs with endless solos. And the winner is…the first “team” because of its subversive character that dictates that nothing is final and everything is constantly changing. I take a break to add this style attitude to my outfits that put the easy parts of the wardrobe … a white top, the black tights, the black booties, my black hat and my beloved shawl in a power game of new fashion roles when they coexist in the same look. Dedicated to the mentor creativewear Vivienne Westwood.

My little secrets…

  1. Everything old is new again when I give to it another form than its predecessor. Old black woolen shawl of my grandmother + white cotton scarf by H&M = improvised black & white cape.
  2. The layering (more than two garments worn together) is just cool. At my heroine’s outfit I combined a leopard print bra + full length satin jumpsuit + sleeveless tops.
  3. At my heroine’s look the bags do not emphasize but they go against femininity. In this style clip, i wanted to show you why the medium size works perfectly (not too small and inconvenient / nor very large and disproportionate to the body) and the vintage square design simply rocks.
  4. Because my Gucci/Lanvin F/W 2012 style hat dictates a cool messy hair style Idown untamed hair look I protected the smooth texture of my hair even in adverse really cold conditions with Silk Groom Serum of Kiehl’s.
  5. I am obsessed with the chocolate brown as the ultimate color and I dare to wear in a cross body bag. It gives me the complete control of the bag and has an unpredictable style attitude.

About my heroine…

Nina Onoyko came in Greece at 2001 and her favorite color is red. She wants desperately to organize a crazy trip to her beloved Miami and she claims that she is not at all affraid of fashion but on the contrary she loves the creative contact with the camera as she has its own code with it. And when the I ask her my fetish question… “If you run out of clothes to a remote island and ypu have to take with you just a piece of clothing what would that be?” She replies spontaneously and smiling “a shirt.”  The most formal piece of a wardrobe in an “out of the box” environment. Strange but interesting. A few seconds after that info I finally complete the puzzle of her style I.D. becoming aware that she adores earrings, she loves Natalia Vodianova, she is inspired by Dior shows and she has the belief that if her style was a capital of music that would be … rock ‘n’ roll.

Well, I based the script of this style shot to my smart eating weakness. Lies, obsession. I am talking about my corn flakes addiction. The recipe is easy, quick, effective and delicious. The perfect breakfast, lunch and dinner. The big packaging of the classic taste is always standing in my locker. Along with 200 ml of milk-so even if milk is not in my fridge I can easily find it at the mini market at the corner of my place until 23.30 at night- in my medium-sized black bowl satisfy my hunger and request of taste. Ok, I really like that meal. The same happens with the socks.  I always appreciated their style dynamics but I became passionate with them three years ago. The recipe is easy, quick, effective and “tasty.” In fashion terms, elegant. The perfect breakfast, lunch and dinner. Without “declaring” their fashion value they favoring the stylish profile of the most simple outfits obtaining a position at the the pantheon of the fashion details that “transfuse” style in my daily looks. My heroine in her Japanese style costume direction shows my favorite pairs in order to convince you that there is an easy going way of elegance but first you have to find him.

My little secrets

  •     I am not afraid to wear bright colors. The compulsion of black socks belongs to the past.
  •     I like the short (up to the ankle) socks that have on top of them subtle ruffles. As they stick out from my favorite minimal ankle boots they create a detail that adds vintage character to my look.
  •     When my stylistic inspiration dictates a total black outfit  I “tone up” the look with a pair of orange socks.  This is my beloved color.
  •     I never wear for any reason socks with my pumps. Instead, I often wear my ankle boots with a thick pair of cotton tights or leggings.
  •     My benchmark for a style management course of a pair of socks integrated in each look are the manga fashionistas in Japan.
